Core Beliefs

Foundation for Good Government

    • Limited Government

Government should provide only the functions that cannot be done by individuals or private businesses.  The best form of government is one that governs the least.

    • Lower Taxes

Reducing taxes is critical to continued economic success and we must look to cut all forms of taxes to as low as possible, but still providing essential services only government can provide. Tax cuts for all is a priority of mine.

    • Balanced Budgets

Maintaining balanced budgets and saving for the future is critical to North Dakota’s long-term success.  I’m a strong fiscal conservative!

    • Free & Open Markets

The only way to insure long-term steady growth in an economy is to open all markets around the world and bring down trade barriers.  North Dakota’s products should be sold all over the world.  The free markets system is the only proven system that works for all.  Small businesses create most of the job in the country and we must support and make business friendly in North Dakota.

    • Reducing Regulations

Government’s job isn’t to saddle businesses with excessive regulations and rules.  We must work to stay one of the BEST places to do business in the world.  I will work to cut the red tape and reduce cumbersome regulations that hurt job growth.

    • Constitutional Government

The founding fathers produced the most amazing document in the history of the world and we must not sway from what built this great country.  Individual states have the Constitutional rights to govern themselves as they see fit.

    • Strong National Defense

The military installations in North Dakota are vital to the national security of the country and we must continue to support them in every possible way.  The economic impact of the Minot Air Force Base is critical to Minot and I strongly support the base.

    • Parental Rights

Parents should decide what their children are taught. I will fight everyday for parents and children to maintain their right to freely speak out and decide their children’s future. I fierily oppose ALL vaccine mandates, males playing in female sports, and mask mandates on our children!

    • Private Property Rights

America is like no other country in the world and supporting citizens private property rights is extremely important to me.

    • Personal Responsibility

Every citizen is personally responsible for their own actions, decisions and words.  Government isn’t the answer, with hard work and dedication comes success.

    • Quality Education

The education system in North Dakota is the best in the country and I will vote to keep it that way.  Accountability, high standards, local control are important.  We need to invest in our youth as they are the next leaders.

    • Sustainable Energy Development

North Dakota is now the #2 oil state in the nation.  We must continue to develop oil, natural gas and coal full steam ahead!  The energy industry in North Dakota is extremely critical to the long-term success of this state.  North Dakota is helping to reduce the nation’s dependence on foreign oil every day.

    • Affordable Quality Health Care

Government run health care has NOT worked anywhere in the world and will send this country into major fiscal problems.  Common-sense ideas like interstate purchase of insurance, tort reform and expanded health savings accounts are needed not big government control and regulation.  Requiring individuals to purchase a product or service is unconstitutional.

    • Adequate Infrastructure Investment

The development of the oil fields has caused many problems with roads, bridges and water shortages.  Adequate infrastructure investment is needed now  for long-term development success  of our natural resources.  Let’s continue to make the investments for the future now!

    • Second Amendment Rights

The Constitution is clear every law abiding citizen has the RIGHT to own firearms and I fully support gun rights. ENDORSED BY THE NRA (National Rifle Association).  Rating = A

  • Hunting Rights
